The first thing I would like to recommend to you this year is to get started with an RSS reader!
Have you ever wondered how the top bloggers have so many things to post about, how they know so much, and get so up to date information?
Yes, through RSS!
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication
Most blogging platforms out there do publish RSS feeds, some in full format, and some in partial format. For example, the feed for this blog is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/GoodBloggingHabits
Blog RSS feeds (most of the time) contain the same text as the blog posts, so what you need to do is to go get an account at an RSS reader like Google Reader, Bloglines, or Newsgator, and then subscribe to the feeds. The next time that blog publishes a new post, your RSS reader will indicate to you that there is a new post for you to read! In this way, you can track dozens of blogs at a go, without having to visit them everyday.
