As the year comes to an end, many people are reflecting and planning for the new year.
Planning is an important phase in everything - be it about life, your career, strategies for marketing... and blogging.
So the good blogging habit I want to advocate today is to plan your post, before you write.
Very often in a hurry, we just get to our post screen and type away, writing as new thoughts come into our minds. We end up with posts that are unfocused, and stray away from the main topic.
Try this instead. Jot on a piece of paper, what you intend to say for this post... then start typing. If new thoughts come into your head. Jot them down on another piece of paper - and leave them to brew for another post.
Have a wonderful year ahead!
Good luck, and keep blogging!

Never leave your post screen with your post unsaved
One of the most important thing I've learnt over these few months is that your web browser are sometimes the most unstable software on your computer!
Well, not that the software is buggy, but there are some websites with scripts that can potentially crash a browser... and it has happened to me a couple of times!
So the good blogging habit that I want to share today is to NEVER leave your blog post screen with your post unsaved!
Make use of the "save as draft" features - most blogs have them.
If not, one day you will end up pulling your hair over a 500 word post that you have painfully written... that you cannot retrieve because you have closed your browser (accidentally, or because another program has crashed your browser).
Good luck, and keep blogging!

Welcome to my Good Blogging Habits blog!
Hey there, and welcome to Blogopreneur's Good Blogging Habits.
The reason why I have set up this blog is because I wanted a separate place where I can post in "different style" - this blog will feature regular updates of what I think are good blogging habits for professional bloggers, as I go though the journey of being a professional blogger and blog marketing trainer myself!
Oh by the way, my primary blog is at http://www.blogopreneur.com, where I discuss issues facing the blogosphere daily and show you strategies on blog marketing and search engine optimization!
